- Ultralight Down Fill: Just 850g of goose-down fill packs serious three-season warmth into a bag light enough to barely notice on your back.
- Freezing-Point Comfort: Rated for nights down to freezing, so you sleep soundly through cold-weather camps.
- Waterproof Insulation: A waterproof outer keeps the down dry and lofted, even in damp bivouac conditions.

How to Choose the Right Walking Boots
- Boot height — low cut for easy day hikes, mid cut for most UK walking, high cut for heavy loads and technical ground.
- Waterproofing — Gore-Tex lined is the right call for British weather; non-waterproof only for warm, dry days.
- Sole stiffness — flexible for easy paths, semi-stiff for mixed terrain, stiff for rocky mountain routes.
- Fit — snug but never tight; a thumb’s width at the toes, firm heel, and try them on in the afternoon.
- Break-in — mid boots need 2–4 weeks, high boots 4–8 weeks. Never take brand-new stiff boots on a long route.
